It was at the beginning of the year 2000 that our family business started the beekeeping activity. Originally our work was only the production of honey from bees, but today (since 2017) we carry out the entire process to obtain our product; that is to say, production, extraction and later the fractionation of the honey. This process is carried out in our own facilities, which are authorized by national organizations in terms of manufacturing and food safety.
Always betting on the care of bees and thus finally achieve a quality product and one hundred percent natural.

Read about the extraction process
Short description:
Once the honey material has been collected from the field, it is stored in a wing of the room. From here the extraction process begins; the frames with honey go through the uncapping machine (and go to another sector of the room) where the wax cover is removed from the combs in order to later allow the honey to escape from them.
In turn, all the operculum that is “draining” is taken by the press; This fulfills the function, as its name indicates, of pressing the wax (cold) to separate as much honey as possible and, on the other hand, the wax.
It is important to know this process during the extraction and highlight the reason for doing it “cold” as we have mentioned before; since other types of equipment are usually used to separate honey and wax with the application of temperatures. This can be detrimental to the organoleptic characteristics of honey if it is not controlled correctly.
Once the operculum is removed, the frames are placed in their respective baskets and these are placed in the extractor machine, which rotates at a certain speed and by centrifugal action facilitates the draining of the honey. This is decanting towards a tray and later pumped to the drums.
